Water footprint

Water footprint measures the amount of water used to produce our own water.

• Green (Black) water footprint is water from precipitation, evaporated, incorporated by plants. It is relevant for agricultural, horticultural and forestry products.

• Blue (Yellow) water footprint is water from surface or groundwater resources. A product to take water from one body and returned to another. This kind of water is used in domestic water.

• Grey (Blue) water footprint is water of assimilate pollutants to measure the water quality standards. It appears from the soil, impervious surfaces or other sources.

Here you can see that we use 2605m3 in food, 491m3 in domestic and 468m3 in thing related with industry. Our amount of water in one week  is equal to 3564m3.
