Water footprint
Water footprint measures the amount of water used to produce our own water.
- Green (Black) water footprint is water from precipitation, evaporated, incorporated by plants. It is relevant for agricultural, horticultural and forestry products.
- Blue (Yellow) water footprint is water from surface or groundwater resources. A product to take water from one body and returned to another. This kind of water is used in domestic water.
- Grey (Blue) water footprint is water of assimilate pollutants to measure the water quality standards. It appears from the soil, impervious surfaces or other sources.
